By far my favourite discovery of the entire show was New York based designer Lulu DK’s line of non-toxic temporary tattoo jewelry. Tattoo jewlery exploded onto the fashion scene last year with the fashion-forward pinning and ‘gramming photos of bronzed boho babes adorned in beautiful gold & silver jewelry designs. By now there are several brands on the market to choose from, but I feel that Lulu DK’s tattoos stand head and shoulders above the crowd as each tattoo design is hand drawn by Lulu herself and just a glance will tell you that the quality of the designs are far superior to some of the competitors on the market. The fact that they are selling in New York’s Bloomingdales and London’s Selfridges speaks volumes for the quality of her product. When I’m wearing these tattoos I always feel beautifully decorated and they are so easy and non-fussy to apply, just wet the back of the strip with water and peel away, it’s easier than painting your nails! The foil tattoo will stay on the skin up to 7 days without fading or peeling and can be easily removed using baby oil and cotton wool.
I was lucky enough to bring home a couple of extra samples of Lulu DK’s temporary tattoo range; one of which I am offering up as a giveaway to one reader! You can make your entries via the Rafflecopter link below and are free to make multiple entries to increase your chances of winning! Please remember to leave a comment on this blog post letting us know which entries you have completed.
The winner will be posted one packet of Lulu DK’s ‘Love Story’ range of jewlery tattoos as well as a few spare samples as seen in the photograph. Good luck to all and happy sharing!
